Are they allowed at the Cape Coral Strawberry Fest? Bonita Springs is the only community in Southwest Florida with drone-related ordinances. Article K of chapter 28, section 28-41, of the Bonita Springs municipal code says that drones in city parks must be kept 25 feet away from people, power lines, buildings and lamps and can only fly when the fields are empty.

A drone flying behind the home of a couple in Cape Coral prompted the woman to declare an invasion of privacy. So if you're planning on bringing your drone to the Cape Coral Strawberry Fest, make sure you follow all FAA regulations and local ordinances. Keep your drone 25 feet away from people, power lines, buildings and lamps and only fly when the fields are empty.
